■目的・概要
海上運送法に基づく「日本船舶・船員確保計画」の認定を受けた船舶運航事業者等が、新規船員の確保・育成を積極的に実施することに対して、国による助成金により、事業者の取組を支援する制度です。
5年間の計画認定を受けた事業者が、45歳未満の船員未経験者（独立行政法人海技教育機構の卒業生は対象外）を運航要員として雇用して、育成した場合に、船員計画雇用促進助成金を受給することができます。
■応募資格
日本船舶・船員確保計画の認定を受け（計画期間5年間）、45歳未満の船員未経験者（独立行政法人海技教育機構の卒業生は対象外）を運航要員として雇用して、育成した事業者
